FACTS ABOUT PAIN |
- Did you know pain is 100% produced by the brain?
- Sleep, Stress, Diet, Lack of movement, Poor Diet all contribute to increased pain.
- Pain is a gift? Why? It protects us. People who don't feel pain have a short life expectancy.
- Persistent pain is no fun, we can help through education and exercise. Research has proven this to be the most effective way to reduce pain.
- Did your MRI show something scary? Did you know 70% of 20 year olds have disc buldges but have no pain. Herniated discs and disc degeneration are normal findings as we get older. So don't panic if your doctor tells you have these on your MRI.
