Greetings
Happy New Year from all of us at Willow Grove Physical Therapy. We hope that you had a great Holiday season and we wish you all the best for 2018.
Welcome to the January newsletter from Willow Grove Physical Therapy.
2018 Fitness Goals
1. Plan - planning meals and exercise routines are vital for helping you stay on track and motivated to achieve your fitness goals in 2018. Ask your therapist for guidance on a specific program for you!
2. Consistency - being consistent with exercise allows you to progress steadily and without injury, so be consistent with what works best for you! (for example: walking, yoga, weight lifting, zumba, etc)
3. Sleep hygiene - your body and mind require deep sleep to recover each day so make sure you are getting 8 hours of sleep each night to replenish mind/body.
4. Lifestyle - embrace healthy living/eating and exercise as a lifestyle change rather than just a fad diet or the latest trends!
5. Be Realistic - small daily changes are a good start. Don't expect results overnight, it takes time and dedication to achieve your 2018 (& beyond!) health goals.

It is commonly characterized by a “catch” or an inability to straighten out the finger or thumb.
