Bio

Dr. Robert James Poleshuk, PT, DPT, LAT, ATC, CSCS is a dual-credentialed Physical Therapist and Certified Athletic Trainer with extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, and high-performance athlete care. Since earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2016, he has built a career centered on evidence-based rehabilitation, return-to-sport performance, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Dr. Poleshuk has served athletes at every level—from high school and collegiate programs to international competition as Athletic Trainer for the USA Masters Men’s Field Hockey Team at the 2024 World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa. His professional background includes leadership roles in clinical outpatient settings, head athletic trainer coverage for multi-sport programs, and ongoing athletic training support for high-impact contact sports. Known for combining clinical precision with performance-focused programming, he is committed to optimizing patient outcomes while promoting long-term resilience, functional strength, and athletic longevity.

I really enjoy and have enjoyed Willow grow physical therapy over the years. Working directly with Gina McGovern, has been life-saving for me. She’s helped me in so many different ways with different injuries. The homework she gives me is doable, which is great. Other places I’ve gone due to my accident, I felt like they were asking physical things I wasn’t able to do at that time. I was so happy. I found Willow Grove physical therapy.
