Physical Therapists Most Knowledgeable in Managing Musculoskeletal Conditions

A recent study revealed that physical therapists with higher levels of educational training – such as Doctors of Physical Therapy or those with an Orthopaedic Clinical or Sports Therapy Specialty – were more knowledgeable in treating musculoskeletal conditions than physician specialists, aside from orthopeadists.

Willow Grove Physical Therapy has three Doctors of Physical Therapy, a therapist with a PhD, an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), and an athletic trainer on staff. To read more about this, please click here!

WGPT Completing Research Study

We will be participating in a research study to examine the accuracy and effectiveness with which physical therapists diagnose and treat horizontal canal BPPV.

If you have complaints of positional vertigo, have been referred to physical therapy for treatment, and are 18 years of age or older, then you may be eligible to participate.

If you are interested in participating in this study or would like more information, please call Willow Grove Physical Therapy.
